Use Call Flow with Tracking Number

To use a Call Flow with a Tracker's tracking number, update the inbound call handling setting. You can use the same Call Flow across multiple trackers and tracking numbers to simplify your inbound call handling management. Update Tracker Settings

Call Flows Overview

Call Flows allow you to build custom handling of incoming calls. A call flow consists of multiple steps for how to handle the call. In this overview, we will go over how to setup a call flow that does the following: - Records the call audio. - Plays a greeting to the caller. - Plays a Whisper Message to the call recipient for context when answering the call. - Prompts the caller to leave a voicemail for missed calls. - Transcribes voicemail audio to text. Create a Call Flow Enable Call Recording and Add a Whipser Message Add Greeting Step Add Dial Step Add Voicemail Step Result Use the Call Flow for Inbound Call Handling Now it's time to use the Call Flow to handle inbound calls to your tracking number. Go to a tracker's settings, and update the Inbound Call Handling to use your new Call Flow.

Voicemail Step

Use the Voicemail Step to allow the caller to leave a voicemail if no one answers the call. The voicemail step supports two types of greetings as well as transcriptions. - Text to Speech - Converted text to speech audio to "say" your message to the caller. - Audio - Play an uploaded audio file to the caller. MP3 and Wav audio files supported. Note A "beep" will be played to the caller after your greeting to indicate to the caller to leave their message. Voicemail Text Greeting Example voicemail greeting text that will be spoken to the caller before they leave a message. Voicemail Audio Greeting Example voicemail greeting audio that will be played to the caller before they leave a message. Voicemail Transcription To enable transcriptions for Voicemails, select the option on the voicemail step. When enabled, all voicemails will include a text transcription of the voicemail audio.

Dial Step

Use the Dial step to connect the call to the correct destination. The dial step is used to forward the call to the recipient, it also supports limiting the ringing time before moving to the next step. Dial Step To setup the dial step, add the Destination number to receive the incoming call. Dial Step Timeout You can also control the amount of time the call with ring the recipient before moving to the next step. Note Each "ring" takes about 5 seconds, setting this to 20 seconds will ring the recipient 4 times before moving to the next step.

Greeting Step

Use a Greeting Step to play a message to the caller. The greeting step is most useful as the first step in a flow to play a message to the caller before continuing to dial. Greetings support two types of greetings: - Text to Speech - Converted text to speech audio to "say" your message to the caller. - Audio - Play an uploaded audio file to the caller.
